I don’t photograph events unless you want me posted at the snack table. I rarely photograph families, but I will do them on a case-by-case basis. The same goes for weddings. I only take on a small number of weddings each year, if any, so if you want me to photograph your wedding, slide into my email, and we can chat.

Well, you already answered it! We are professionals. We (better) know what we are doing. I have been taking photos for 13 years and counting, working with hundreds of people from first-time business owners, new models, seasoned professionals in their game, musicians, speakers, artists, influencers, and the list could go on and on. Whoever you hire has the knowledge to make you look and feel your absolute best.

I want the folks in front of my camera to feel comfortable, at ease, and able to have a shit ton of fun. We will take breaks to chat about life. We can even have an Instagram break if you want. I want you to feel totally relaxed while shooting because that reflects in the photos. That is why I have clients who say they look exactly like themselves in the pictures.

There is so much that happens outside the scope of just the photo session in itself. A typical process looks like this: Responding to inquiries and future client questions > onboarding (sending you files like contracts and invoices, to sending questionnaires) > pre-session planning like location scouting, mood board creation, outreach to other vendors if necessary > client care before photo session > day of photo session prep > travel to location > yay, it’s photo session time > travel back home > uploading and backing up files > culling photos (choosing the best ones) > editing, editing, and more editing > preparing client gallery > sending the client the images.

It’s a lot, right?! That also doesn’t include the behind-the-scenes stuff like accounting, taxes, education, gear upkeep, marketing, and probably a million other things my brain doesn’t want to think about right now.

Yes! I want to be as accessible as possible, so if you require more payments to work with your financial situation at the moment, I am more than happy to discuss that with you! I typically require a 50% non-refundable retainer when you sign on to work with me, and the final 50% is due on the day of our photo session.

I collect a 50% non-refundable retainer when we sign on to work together to secure your date on my calendar, and if there is a last-minute cancelation and it is too late to book another session that day. You may run off to Bali and never return. Hey, it’s your life. Do what you want.

I keep the 50% retainer delivered when we sign on to work together. There is no additional cancellation fee if canceled before 72 hours of the photo session. If canceled within 72 hours, there is a $150 cancelation fee.

Life happens, and sometimes you need to reschedule. Your retainer is moved to the new photo session date. I wish for us all to be respectful with our time and limit rescheduling to only once. Otherwise, there will be a rescheduling fee of $150 for each rescheduled date.

If rescheduling because of weather, there is no fee to change the date.

One of the most common things clients say to me during a photo shoot is, “you take that many photos that fast?!?” The great thing about shooting for so many years is I can quickly get my shot. Which package is chosen, how many locations, and the type of content we are shooting all determine how long a session can take. I’ve had sessions from 30 minutes to six hours before. We will discuss in your onboarding how long your session could take. But rest assured, we won’t be shooting all day. I’ll need a nap at some point.

As the photographer, I own the copyright of all images I take, and you receive the right to share and print your photos. If you are a brand or business wanting to own the copyright to the images, that will be an additional fee discussed before onboarding.

Nope, and you don’t want them, trust me. As you read before, I shoot A LOT. That means there are many in-between moments where eyes are shut, mouths are in positions you didn’t even know was possible, clothing is out of place, and the photo is too dark, too light, or just out of focus. It is my job to cull down the images to the best of the best, and then I edit those and send them your way. Let me do the heavy lifting for you.

The number of photos you get will be determined by the package you choose, but we can discuss the number of images expected to be delivered during onboarding.

Yes, the photos you receive will be fully edited, so you don’t have to do anything! Regarding what I re-touch, I only edit what isn’t permanent. Happen to have a breakout the day before? I’ll catch those pimples for you. Cat/dog/baby scratched your face? No worries, I got it!

I refuse to edit body shape. I respect and honor your body as it is, and I will never, ever alter someone’s appearance. Even if it is requested by the client, I do not change someone’s body shape.

Sure do! I backup my images in physical hard drives in my home as well in a cloud service. Your RAW and final edited photos will be kept two years from your session date.

It is recommended to download and backup your files upon delivery. Your online gallery will be available for a finite amount of time, determined by the terms we have set before onboarding. I will keep the images in possession for two years after the photo session.
